Dr. Quintal did her pediatric residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center and earned her M.D. from LSU Health Sciences Center. Dr. Quintal also completed her Master of Science in public health at Tulane University and her bachelor's in chemistry/pre-medicine at Xavier University of Louisiana.
Prior to joining DCHC, Dr. Quintal cared for patients at Children's International Medical Group, Southwest Louisiana Center for Healthcare Services and LBJ Hospital in Houston in addition to other stops. Dr. Quintal contributed to Growing Up in Houston: Assessing the Quality of Life of Our Children and she has engaged in pediatric research.
