What is Behavioral Health?
Behavioral health is the treatment of actions impacted by the way we live, the way we process situations that can be stressful, and our habits. At DePaul Community Health Centers, we work to make sure you are at your best in mind, body, and spirit. We address a range of issues that affect daily life.

- Parent-child relationship challenges
- Grief, loss and other traumatic events
- Depression
- Attention and other behavioral challenges

- Counseling for individuals, groups and families to manage all behaviors
- Medication management and intervention
- Psychiatric evaluations and additional health screenings
- Peer support and group services
- Behavioral health screenings for depression (including suicidal ideation), anxiety, trauma, alcohol and illicit substance use, and other conditions
- Shared decision-making;
- Health promotion;
- Individual and family support; and
- Referral to community and social support services along with follow-up from your DCHC provider.

Our multifaceted Behavioral Health team takes a holistic approach to your wellbeing. A highly qualified provider delivers a behavioral health assessment, an evaluation and evidenced-based care for children starting at 6 years old as well as adults.By connecting primary and behavioral health care, our providers include:

Access to care is available at all 11 DCHC locations. You also have access to services virtually with a Behavioral Health Specialist, Case Manager or Care Coordinator assigned to help you reach your goals.
