Kelly Franovich

Nurse Franovich has 23 years experience working with children in a variety of medical settings including pediatric intensive care, the emergency department, school health, and primary care. She has a special interest in Early Childhood Development. Nurse Franovich earned a master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and her bachelor’s degree in biology from Tulane University.
Nurse Franovich holds a national certification by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and she is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She was a forensic DNA analyst for seven years, having collected evidence at crime scenes, developed DNA profiles, and testified in criminal court cases.
She lives with her husband and youngest daughter, and she has two grown children. Nurse Franovich loves sports, yoga, outdoors, gardening, and animals. She has two dogs, two cats, a 75 lb. tortoise, and a lovebird.
