Alana Anthony
MD
Dr. Anthony earned her bachelor's degree from Xavier University of Louisiana, her master's degree in biomedical sciences from Barry University, and her M.D. from Meharry College. She completed her residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in the Department of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians as well as the American Medical Association and the National Medical Association.
Committed to providing excellent comprehensive patient care, Dr. Anthony has served as a collaborating physician for the Family Healthcare Clinic in Bogalusa and as a physician at Access Health Louisiana, Algiers Urgent Care, and SWLA Center for Health Services. She been recognized with the LSUHSC Department of Family Medicine Professionalism Award.
